Blue Doors was founded by Christian Wijaya and his partner, Alvin Setiadarma, after seeing and learning the Melbourne’s coffee culture in 2012. They first initiated Chez Moka, in a small rented place, which set a foundation for something bigger. A year later, the business has grown and turned the pop-up café concept into a real café, named Blue Doors and located at Jalan Gandapura no. 61, Bandung.
From only 3x3 rented place, Christian Wijaya and Alvin Setiadarma started the pop-up café. After a year and saw the business has grown, they decided to move into bigger and more strategic location with a new name: Blue Doors.
Soon, Blue Doors became a ‘hidden gem’ amongst the hustle and bustle of city life in Bandung. Known for its main blue doors, offering cozy and homey ambiance, Blue Doors has turned into Bandung’s sweetheart and famous for its best coffee.
As the business started growing bigger, Blue Doors has also grown its partnerships and chosen three (3) other partners who share the same vision and mission, and most importantly, care about the product. We always believe that a partnership is pretty much what you make out of it. Like a relationship, each of the partners have to work towards a common goal to achieve something.
